Date night {outfit}

While we were at the beach on vacation, we headed out for a great date night!  Found this top at Target and did my hair in a simple up-do.  My polka dot bracelet is from Kate Spade, clutch from Kate Spade and watch from Michael Kors.  Alan is once again decked out in Banana Republic.  

I think at some point soon, I'll have to do a post on "How to wear Target with anything."

Sunset {outfit}

We didn't get the sunset we were hoping for but the sky was still beautiful.  It's one of the many reasons I love being down at the beach.  For the sunset, I wore a red dress from Target and a colorful bracelet from Kate Spade.

Alan was the perfect husband in navy from Banana Republic with flip flops from Croatia (they were our only serious purchase!).

There is a direct correlation between living close to the water and lower blood pressure.  I'm pretty certain I've proved that this week at the beach.  Work has been very stressful and yet within a day I've been able to relax and enjoy being down at the beach with my family.

We love to eat.  Friday night the hubs and I had an awesome date night at the Carlyle in Shirlington.  Best quote at dinner, "Sometimes you just taste it and say, shit that's good."  That about sums up our dinner/drinks.
