summer ready!
I simply adore these pieces. To me, this is the perfect summer outfit. Unfortunately, I could only find the wedges in a size 10 and I have baby sized feet (totally out of proportion for someone my height). So I'm working on finding something similar. The dress is right up my polka dot alley and the clutch is fantastic with this summer's hot coral shade and only $50!

Mary & Paul
If you learn one fact about me, know this: I love polka dots. From the polka dots on our wedding cake to the polka dots lining my favorite Kate Spade bags, this type of pattern makes me very happy. Mary & Paul have some adorable dresses with prints I'm loving.

at work today....
Today I'm at the office wrapping up my work before an awesome family vacation at the beach. To get me in the mood for a busy day, my outfit had to include my new Steve Madden glitter shoes. I snagged mine from Loehmann's last Friday and love them!

Chandeliers: Love v. Afford

If I didn't have to drill through concrete and risk hitting rebar, I would absolutely put a chandelier in our bedroom. Well, that would be right after fresh paint and a headboard. One day my husband and I will have a gorgeous and very plush bedroom. That day will come just as soon as we can afford exactly what we want. For now, I'll dream.
